A Race In Memory of Gary Sokola

Gary Sokola was a CRA Car owner for 6 years, Turned CRA President and
Director of Racing as well as Director of Marketing from 1977 through 1987
sometimes known as the Ayatollah Sokola in the CRA. Gary left California for
Indiana to take a position with USAC serving 10 years there as USAC's Assistant
Director of Competition and Sprint Car Series Supervisor. He then moved on to
Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas to oversee the construction of
the state of the art facility as well as race organizer.

After moving to California Gary began a long history in the sport of Non Wing
Sprint Car Racing. In memory of Gary we are asking for your help in making some
nice additions/contributions to the race as in Lap Sponsor's or Product Donors.

These can be sent to the following people if you have any request please feel free
to Contact the People listed below. Last Years donor's will be contacted in
the next week or so. If you have any questions please feel free to call us.

All donations will go directly to the Purse.

Manufacture Products to be distributed to the racers as specified by donor

Laps are $ 100.00 minimum each for the 40 Lap Main Event on Saturday March 16th
$ 50.00 donations are acceptable as long as you don't mind sharing a lap.
Lap sales are on a first come first serve basis and sell out fast

All Contributions are to be included in the purse pay out. You may state
how the Prize / Item is to be dispersed.

Manufacture's Products will be distributed Saturday Night as part of the
Purse/Awards for that night
